Rodrigo Pessoa signed with EMBRAER and is a new member of AMG - LA SILLA team

The year 2006 started well for Rodrigo Pessoa, three times Champion of
the World Cup, World Champion and actual Olympic Gold Meddalist the
rider signed yesterday another important contract for his sporting
career.
Rodrigo Pessoa now forms part of the AMG - LA SILLA Team.
AMG is a brand name linked with Mercedes-Benz who manufacture the more sofisticated sports cars ofthis make.The fact that Rodrigo was already sponsored by AMG helped in this.
LA SILLA is an important farm for breeding horses which belongs to the Mexican horse breeder Alfonso Romo. It is a tradicional farm in the show jumping circles and Rodrigo will be riding some horses of LA SILLA.
The team will be formed with five riders who are Rodrigo Pessoa, Toni Hassmann from Germany, RolfGoran Bengtsson from Sweden, Pia Luise Alfrecht from Germany and Cristian Hermon from France.
Rodrigo Pessoa extends his relationship with EMBRAER for the year 2006.
The rider has another important news for the Horse Jumping World.His contract with EMBRAER -Brazilian Manufacturer of airplanes is being extended for the whole of 2006 season. To start with EMBRAER signed a contract with Rodrigo for the Winter Equestrian Festival that took place in Wellington, in Florida during the months of January, February and March. However the results were so good that the contract has been extended to the end of 2006, when both EMBRAER and Rodrigo will discuss further extension of this contract for the next few years.
Pessoa will use EMBRAER`s colours in his riding gear. The brand of AMG is already present and thebrand of LA SILLA will be incorporated.
"These were two important news. The negotiation with EMBRAER went very well and we are extending ourpartnership for the 2006 season which made me very happy as this will be the first Brazilian Sponsorthat I will represent. Now entering the AMG-LA SILLA team has come to contribute for me to have goodpartnerships which is extremely important for the career of any professional athlete". Comented Rodrigo Pessoa.
THE RIDER WILL ARRIVE IN BRAZIL ON THE 6TH OF MAY TO BE PRESENT OF THE EVENT IN PORTO ALEGRE.
Rodrigo Pessoa will arrive in Brazil on the 6th of May to be present at the "THE BEST JUMP" the International Equestrian Competition which will be held in the city of Porto Alegre. Apart form the Competition he will be present at the auction which will take place at the Joter farm on the 6th evening.
"I will be travelling to Brazil arriving there on the 6th of May and already returning to Europe on the 7th. I want to be present at Joter as they are the principal show jumping horses in Brazil, havong already placed three horses in the Olympics of Atlanta in 1996". Comented Rodrigo.
The riders agenda is really intense: on the 2nd of May Rodrigo embarks to New York where he will betrying out a horse and on the 5th embarks to Porto Alegre in Brazil. Soon after trvaels to Brusselsand continues his participation in the European Circuit.

16 to 21st of May - Aachen - Germany
25 to 28th of May - Hamburg - Germany
01 to 04th of June - Wiesbaden - Germany
08 to 11th of June - Cannes - France
